How we keep uploads safe

Every upload is automatically screened and human-checked. Illegal or harmful images — including indecent images of children, extreme pornography and terrorist material — are refused, and in line with UK law we will retain and report the upload together with the IP address and time stamp to the police and the Internet Watch Foundation.

Copyright & your photo

You must own the copyright to any image you upload, or have permission to use it. Squared Mesh takes no responsibility for copyright infringement caused by customer uploads. We won't redistribute or reuse your image, and once your order has been fulfilled we delete it from our systems.

Tips for the best result
  • Sharp, well-lit photos give the best lines — avoid blurry or very dark shots.
  • Strong contrast between subject and background works best. Black-and-white looks bold, but colour photos work beautifully too.
  • Fill the frame with your subject — close-ups plot far better than distant shots.
  • Plain backgrounds are easiest for us to remove cleanly.
